- Higher levels of dietary zinc, provided in chelated form for maximum absorption in the gastrointestinal tract. Zinc is an integral component in the skin cell layer, and also plays key role in metabolic functions.
- Includes Brewer’s Yeast as a source of B complex vitamins, which are important to pathways of synthesis of skin and hair cells, are essential to the repair of the skin’s epidermal layer and support wound healing.
- Uses whole oats and rice as carbohydrate sources for high digestibility and palatability.
- The normal growth and maintenance of hair and skin requires up to 30% of the daily protein usage. Nutram Skin and Coat Dog includes fish meal, chicken meal, chicken and dried whole eggs for a balanced amino acid profile and highly digestible dietary protein.
