Fostering Hope Animal Rescue Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer based rescue in Red Deer, Alberta. We assist with stray, abandoned, injured and unwanted animals needing a safe place to land until their forever homes are found. With a network of over 100 foster homes (and growing!) throughout central Alberta, we are able to see immense change in an animal’s disposition and quality of life in a short amount of time.

Working throughout remote areas, we provide spay/neuter programs, food assistance and educational resources. We work on building strong community relationships in hopes of changing animals’ lives for the better while increasing awareness of responsible pet ownership. 

Through generous donations, community support and adoption fees, we are able to continue the work we do. As we get bigger, we aim to increase our amount of intakes and continue to bring support to the communities that need it most.

Dogs bring a lifetime of unconditional love to all those lucky enough to be in their presence.  Unfortunately, not every dog  gets the opportunity to spread all of this love, through no actions of their own many dogs are forced to live out a life of scavenging while trying to survive. 

Foster Hope Rescue Foundation is a fantastically caring group, who has made it their mission to ensure that no dog is left behind.  Although there are times and places where boarding facilities are necessary to house dogs in rescues, we really appreciate that Foster Hope has been able to develop a very large network of knowledgeable volunteer foster families.  This ability to take a dog from the country or your back alley and place them in a home environment allows them the opportunity to quickly learn how to love, play, trust...it allows them to become a family member who wants only to show unconditional love.
