Save Me Rescue is a non-profit registered charity organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs from over-crowded shelters, where dogs can be at risk for euthanasia, and owners who can no longer care for them.

By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities, they are able to rescue many animals every year, provide them with loving temporary care and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes. Save Me Rescue also serves as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behaviour training and good nutrition.

We chose Save Me Rescue because we belive that giving back starts right in your local community.  Save Me Rescue has several local foster volunteers, and Melanie and one of our staff adopted sister pups from them. They have generously volunteered their time to partner with us for adoption events, and many of our customers have adopted from them as well. We value Save Me Rescue's extensive screening process, as it is important to ensure that foster pets are paired with the right family, to ensure each pet finds their furever home.
