A Worthy Claws Rescue Society of BC, is a Langley based rescue that rehabilitates, and rehomes abandoned, and stray cats.

They work closely with CATSaks (Cat Action Teams of Saskatchewan), bringing in cats from the cold prairies into the loving homes of our community.

They also support other rescues by providing food donations, and equipment.

I decided to nominate A Worthy Claws as my supported charity due to the hard work, and dedication that Rita Woodman puts into the world of Animal Rescue. She oversees all of the daily operations, mostly on her own, and is rigorous in ensuring that only the best people get the best cats.

There is no cutting corners with her, as she is not in the business of making money. I believe that this rescue is deserving of my support, if only for all of the love that she provides to her cats, and in turn, to the families that take in her sweet little fur babies.
