Our pet foods are produced with only the highest quality, all-natural ingredients in our privately-owned Canadian facility, located in Elmira, Ontario, a small farming community west of Toronto. 

Our close proximity to the large cities means resources are readily available, while also being able to support the people in our own backyard. At Nutram, we are passionate about supporting our hard-working Canadian farmers, whenever possible, by using their homegrown ingredients in our pet foods.  

A world class production facility with roots in the local farming community

Our privately-owned world-class production facility first began producing pet nutrition in the 1970s. Since 1993 when Nutram was first established, the recipes have been crafted in Ontario. With roots in the farming community going back almost a century, Nutram was ahead of the game when the local food movement began and continued to become what it is today.

Our team of highly trained in-house certified nutritionists and holistic experts carefully control every process from recipe creation to product shipment and everything in between (sourcing, manufacturing, packaging and testing). 

We use our expertise to buy natural and hormone-free quality and wholesome ingredients, from Canadian farmers wherever possible. All farming partners meet and adhere to our strict quality assurance standards, to ensure food safety and quality standards are exceeded.
